Starting point
A successful multi-site trading company faced a strained market during the pandemic and many internal and external changes. Established capabilities needed to evolve.
Goals
- Re-establish the business organisationally, legally and in staffing.
- Retain proven strengths while introducing innovation.
- Relaunch the brand, mission and tagline and develop an additional business area.
- Align employer branding and culture with the new mission.
- Develop employees into co-entrepreneurs and energise team culture.
- Make the mission tangible for customers and create enthusiasm and joy.
Process
A management workshop clarified the situation, goals and strategy. LeadingX10 for managers and selected employees developed awareness of attitudes and patterns, openness, initiative and responsibility.
Management workshops and coaching addressed structure, staffing strategy, training, brand, tagline, mission, leadership and employer marketing.
A company-wide kick-off explored yesterday, today and tomorrow; handling challenges and implementing innovation; experiencing the team’s capability; and living the shared vision. Elevator pitches clarified individual contributions, a press-conference format answered questions, and practical commitments created momentum.
Results
Committed co-entrepreneurs contributed through creative action and selling, while retaining confidence and balance. Blame and lengthy justifications declined. Employee enthusiasm generated customer enthusiasm, and a new company culture emerged around the shared idea of bringing joy to life.
